About
My undergraduate thesis, "Forgotten Lives and Labor: Stories from Lake Apopka," and my graduate thesis, "The Aggregated Influences of Poverty Impacting Dental Care Access and Oral Health among Migrant Farmworkers in Tampa, Florida," focus on migrant labor, access to healthcare, and social determinants of health. My interests in migrants and their access to healthcare explores labor relationships while critiquing discourses of deservingness and market-based medicine. I am currently a contributor to the healthcare and immigration blog, Access Denied: http://accessdeniedblog.wordpress.com.
